Village of Greenport's Energy Storage Systems

Sunrise Power Solutions is pleased to announce an update on two significant projects in the Village of Greenport: the installation of PV Solar Systems and Energy Storage Systems at the Greenport Fire Department and the Greenport Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP).
The Greenport Fire Department now boasts a state-of-the-art 39.48kWDC PV Solar Rooftop System, along with a robust Battery Storage System of 50KW. The PV Solar Rooftop System is strategically designed to harness solar energy and convert it into electricity, reducing the department's reliance on traditional energy sources. This environmentally friendly solution not only contributes to the village's sustainability goals but also helps to lower electricity costs for the Fire Department.
Additionally, the Greenport WWTP now features a remarkable 107.16kWDC PV Solar Ground Mount System complemented by a substantial Battery Storage system of 100KW. This ground-mounted PV Solar System maximizes solar energy absorption and generates clean electricity for the WWTP.
By incorporating these PV Solar Systems and Energy Storage Systems, the Village of Greenport takes a significant step towards energy independence and a greener future. The installations will result in a substantial reduction of carbon emissions, positively impacting the environment and the overall well-being of the community.
