Bayport Blue Point School District Solar Installation: Project Launch

Sunrise Power Solutions is thrilled to announce the launch of a groundbreaking project in collaboration with Bayport Blue Point School District. As part of this initiative, four schools within the district will receive state-of-the-art PV solar systems, demonstrating their commitment to a sustainable future. Bayport Blue Point High School will be equipped with a 678.6kWDC Carport system, while Academy Street Elementary School will benefit from a 264.48kWDC Rooftop system. James Wilson Young Middle School will have a 452.5kWDC Rooftop system installed, and Sylvan Avenue Elementary School will receive both a 210.9kWDC Rooftop system and an 82.5kWDC Walkway canopy system.

These innovative PV solar systems not only contribute to a sustainable future but also provide additional benefits to the Bayport Blue Point School District. The carport and walkway canopies incorporated into the design will act as a preventative measure, ensuring that students and staff stay dry during rainstorms. Furthermore, these systems will reduce the schools' reliance on traditional energy sources, resulting in substantial cost savings over time. They will also provide a clean and renewable energy source, significantly reducing the district's carbon footprint.
